NOVA Clear: digital waivers and cleared-to-play status
Registration says a player signed up. NOVA Clear answers the question coaches actually need on the field: is this player cleared to play today?
The gap between registration and the roster
Many leagues collect waivers inside registration and rarely revisit them. Then a concussion form is missing, a coach's background-check attestation lapsed, or a parent signed last year's version. NOVA Clear sits between registration and roster activation and keeps one status per player: cleared or not yet.
What it does
- Digital waivers and e-signatures, signed on any phone.
- Cleared-to-play status per player, visible to admins before a player is activated on a roster.
- Six ready-to-use templates, including a Tennessee concussion information acknowledgment (T.C.A. § 68-55-501 and following) and a SafeSport and background-check attestation template for coaches and volunteers (NOVA is not affiliated with the U.S. Center for SafeSport).
- Optional signed-PDF archive so you can produce a signed form when someone asks for it.
- Per-league separation: each league's records are kept apart from every other league's.
Built for the way leagues work
NOVA Clear was built by the team that runs Nolensville Youth Football. It works on its own or alongside Sideline OS, and it does not require you to change registration platforms.

Frequently asked questions
Can parents sign youth sports waivers electronically?
Yes. Electronic signatures are generally valid under federal and Tennessee law. Whether a waiver is enforceable, especially for minors, is a separate question, so confirm your forms with counsel.
Does NOVA Clear include a Tennessee concussion form?
Yes. It includes a Tennessee concussion information acknowledgment template among its six default templates.
