Youth league software built in Tennessee

NOVA Labs is based in Nolensville, in Williamson County. We built our software to run Nolensville Youth Football, and we built it for leagues, rec departments and school athletic conferences across Middle Tennessee.

Local, and in the same seasons you are

We play on the same Saturdays, deal with the same summer heat and spring storms, and recruit volunteers from the same communities. If you call us, the person who answers runs a league too. That matters more than any feature list when it is the night before opening day.

Who NOVA is built for

Tennessee concussion law: what leagues need to know

Tennessee's youth sports concussion law (Public Chapter 148, T.C.A. § 68-55-501 and following, effective January 1, 2014) applies to schools and to organizations, including cities, counties, businesses and nonprofits, that run community-based youth athletic activities for which a fee is charged. In practice that means an annual concussion information sheet reviewed and acknowledged by athletes and parents, annual concussion education for coaches and program directors, removal from play when a head injury is suspected, and written clearance from a health care provider before a full or graduated return to play. The University of Tennessee's MTAS publishes a plain-language summary.

NOVA Clear collects the acknowledgments as part of digital waivers and tracks each player's cleared-to-play status before a player is activated on a roster.

Proof, close to home

Our home league, Nolensville Youth Football, is an independent 501(c)(3) and an official NFL FLAG partner. It has grown past 1,300 athletes on 90 teams in six age divisions, with a 360-game co-ed season and a separate girls-only STARS league. NOVA was built and is tested there. Read the Nolensville case study for how it fits together.
